Blame MON he never fancied him, couldn't understand why. Always thought he was a bit of a rough diamond that could come good. Fair play to him, nice to see a Tallaght lad doing well.

Podge Amond was there too ahead of him. Didn't MON say that he wanted to keep him but he wasn't going to get a game up front and he wanted first team football straight away so wished him well.

Easy enough to damn with hindsight. How many people here honestly believed at the time he'd develop to that level? Or that he was better than the players we had at that time?

No, but there is the chance to scoop two in a row.

    Code is 40724-12015

You should all be re-entered once you've signed back up into the fantasy football.

And so it came to pass that the miracle worker, punched the OAFC badge on his chest, talked of his special bond with the Club and its supporters, and promised to aim for at least the play-offs next season. He sorted out the list of retained players and promised to bring in players capable of achieving his aims. Season tickets were selling well, and for the first time in many years supporters looked forward to next season with some confidence.

After being linked with several vacant managerial posts, he said he would not go to Bolton, but if Leeds or Sheffield Wednesday came for him, where he still has legendary status, he would jump at the chance, which was understandable.

However, a few days went by, and the OAFC board gave in to the miracle worker’s repeated pleas, to become the manager of League Two club Notts County, 24 places below Latics and under a transfer embargo because of unpaid bills.

    Shezurrection became Shexit!

It's an amazing achievement that, as a supporter of OAFC, your expectations are pretty much close to zero and yet they still manage to disappoint you.

I wanted to ask you Floyd if you don't mind. In my last fight before I knocked out George Groves at Wembley Stadium in front of 80,000 fans, I worked a lot on power. So I did a lot of swimming, and I chopped down a few trees myself, and then I held my feet and then I knocked him out. And I'm not known as a one punch knock-out man. Have you been doing that yourself a little bit? Working on power?
