Yeah surely no one was singing a version of 'Flower Of Scotland' before use!? Not sure but is anyone aware of one done to 'Gold' that we had for Rowe, before us? Best thing about having him was that chant.

Regardless of 'copying' a teams chants that would sound quality against Derry and Sligo in March....

Reckon you'll definitely hear that celtic chant during the games against Derry and Sligo, those two love their generic youtube flavour of the month chants.

Not being true to the song whatsoever here but something along the lines of the following sung in a loop could work?

    Are you ready
    Are you ready
    Are you ready
    Are you ready
Are you ready for the time of life
Itís time to stand up and fight
    S'alright
    S'alright

One by one we gonna stand up with pride
    One that canít be denied
    Stand up
    Stand up

    Every woman every man
    Join the caravan of love
    (stand up) stand up
    Stand up
    Every body takes a stand
    Join the caravan of love
    (stand up) stand up
    Stand up

Maybe we could get a mention of Rovers in there somehow? Over to you TBC...

rather than start anortgher Celtic thread I 'll stick this in here...12 mins long, no commentary, just filmed among the fans at the recent 2-0 Celtic win at the huns.

TBH I'm not really sure what the idea of it is?

With regard to the chant, TBC was pushing it on the way back from Cork. Thought it might have been a goer at Rovers till I heard Ireland fans singing it at the Welsh game. Turned me right off it :-/
The ole brigade are have started doing the song we started at the juventus game aswell
Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred, jealousy, boastfulness, disregard of all rules and sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence. In other words, it is war minus the shooting.

    The Dale Cavese. Really?!

Don't think anyone else sung Buttercup? (cliftonville do now but no prizes for guessing where they got that (and more or less every chant they have that isn't a Celtic or St. Pauli song) from.

Did C'ville sing 'We Love You' before Celtic and anyone in Ireland/UK though? Certainly has taken off since anyway.

Have to say, those Celtic fans were amazing today, atmosphere looked quality.
To be honest, I couldn't care less were our songs came from, all I'm interested in personally is if they add to the matchday experience and atmosphere at our matches and that ' I just can't get enough ' song certainly would do that. The whole of Celtic Park was on it's feet!
' Lets all do the huddle ' looked amazing as well ( but I'm not expecting to see that in Tallaght to soon! )
